As I worked on documenting the creation of the TCC Memorial Mural in December 2017, it was integral to my project to also capture the seemingly random secondary marks and images that were created in the processs.
Seemingly random creatoions that carry their own message.
These secondary images formed paintings in their own right, as they presented an accumulation of traces, strokes and marks, producing an abstract image and a wild representation of the activities in the surroundings.

As the undercurrent of creativity was flowing through the streets of Wynwood, in addition to portraying the characters of the streets, my focus was also to record some of the lesser visible witnesses, the secondary structures and paint marks that seemed to be part of this universal fabric.
I was fascinated, when examining the structures and objects of the streets, as my research suddenly led me to discover intriguingly striking secondary images and thus felt the urge to present some these surfaces as a passage of time.
